Food, Fun & Margaritas???

We have had a busy day. We went to the Iowa State Fair & had a fun dinner with our friends. So if you have never been to the fair its worth the trip for the food & the people watching. We don't go every year but this year I wanted to because it was my Grandpas favorite time of the year & we might be moving so it was a must do. As a kid my WHOLE family went & we were able to bring 1 friend with. It was a blast. Stopping only to meet for lunch together & watch the talent show at noon. It was nice to remember the fun times we had growing up & letting my husband in on our old family routine.

My favorite food of the fair are the mini doughnuts. Warm & made fresh in front of you! Healthy no but really what is at the fair?? The big thing this year was the bacon covered corndog. Ummmm don't get me wrong I love a good corndog but I couldn't even try it. Otherwise we did really good eating while we were there.

We  got home & did a quick house cleaning, changed & off with our friends for some good mexican food & margaritas. It was a fun night of talking, drinking & way over eating.

Hello my favorite drink ever!!

Sunday will be a day of cleaning. organizing & decision making. I need to decide if it is worth uprooting my family for a job or if we should stay put & make it work.
