Monday night my Grandpa passed away after a long struggle with COPD. Although I will miss him everyday I am glad he isn't in pain and comfortable finally.
He was the best Grandpa anyone could ever ask for & I am lucky to have been able to spend so much time with him. I was glued to his side growing up & always a Grandpa's girl. We had some pretty great times together!!
It is now time to spend our time not grieving but remembering all those good times. It has been nice spending so much time with my family & my husband has been wonderfully supportive. We have been going through pictures & telling stories. Friday & Saturday will be hard but as a family we will get through it.
Remember to give your loved ones a good squeeze tonight & tell them you love them. You never know what will happen & I have come to find out family is everything!
